Houthis Establish Refugee Camp Outside of Aden

Earlier this week Houthi Police forces and other government agencies have established refugee camps in Houthi areas outside of Aden. Widespread panic after firebombing in the city and the use of human shields by the Hadi government has prompted thousands of refugee movements into the Houthi-controlled regions outside of Aden.

Exceptionally well coordinated efforts by the police and Houthi paramilitary forces have ensured the safety of refugees in the Houth-funded camps. The Iranian Navy has been sending significant quantities of agricultural aid, 20% of total output in Iran, to these camps and to the Houthis as a whole.

Furthermore, Houthi Supreme Political Council Deadership have unanimously condemned the use of human shields by the the Hadi government in Yemen, in addition to their other violations of Islamic Law – naming the Hadi government a terrorist organization.
